League Description:
The Mass Premier Summer travel basketball league is a competitive environment. Unlike winter travel there are NOT usually multiple divisions to place teams in. There is one, maybe two divisions to enter into per grade. This may result in teams playing above, below or equal to their team’s skill level and ability week to week. The summer program should be seen as an opportunity to continue playing the FUN game of basketball, continuing to work on your players skills and developing new ones.
The summer league is an excellent opportunity for players to continue developing their skills, gain game experience, and most importantly, have FUN playing basketball!
If there are enough registered players per grade, WBYAA will host a placement night to evaluate skill levels and form teams accordingly. More details will be provided, but placement nights will likely occur in the last two weeks of May. Teams will have a 10 player roster and any player not placed on a team will be refunded.
Uniforms
Players will wear custom basketball uniforms (jersey with last name and shorts). Uniform fee is an additional $55. If your player still has a uniform from Winter Travel or Town Basketball that fits, you do NOT need to order a new one.
Season Schedule
- First Games: Week of June 16, 2025
- Regular Season Ends: First week of August
- Playoffs: Following week in August
- Practices Begin: Approximately the first week of June (depending on coach availability)
Game Locations
- Games will take place at Mass Premier facilities in Foxboro or Mansfield.
- Practices will be held at a West Bridgewater school gym. Practices will be once a week TBD by each coach.

Boys & Girls:
- 2nd/3rd Grade BOYS: Wednesdays
- 2nd/3rd Grade GIRLS: Mondays
- 4th Grade: Wednesdays
- 5th Grade: Mondays
- 6th Grade: Sundays
- 7th Grade: Thursdays
- 8th Grade: Sundays
